Stage Combantants need a deep level of trust, focus, and skill to tell stories of tension and violence. This Stage Combat basics class instills a respect for this craft while students gain the skills of partnering, communication, storytelling, and collaboration.

Park Square is proud to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, and Pride Month through these Pride themed camps aimed to enhance self expression, creativity, and empathy.
Description: Hone your sining techique, and create choreography as you explore the scenes and songs from the hit movie musical The Prom!
Camp Focus: Musical Theatre
Grade Range: 9th-12th
Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, 6/23-6/27
Camp Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!
After Care: For an additional charge of $50, After Care is available for late pick up from 4:00pm-5:00pm. (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)

9th-12th: Write A Revolution
CAMP DETAILS
Description: Taking a page from Hamilton, Come From Away, 1776, and others, the revolutionary spirit has compeled artist to create some of the most prolific musicals and plays of our time. This playwriting focused class will have students work independently, and in small groups to take real world events and turn them into scripts and songs.
Camp Focus: Playwriting, Musical Theatre
Grade Range: 9th-12th
Camp Dates: Monday-Thursday, 6/30-7/3
Camp Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm
End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!
After Care: For an additional charge of $30, After Care is available for late pick up from Monday-Wednesday 4:00pm-5:00pm. There is no after care available on Thursday. (This is a total charge of $30, not $30 per day.)

3rd-9th: Cinderella Rockin' in the 80's! (Full Day Production Camp)
CAMP DETAILS
Description: This two-week long, full day production camp will culminate in a showing of Ciderella Rockin' in the 80's! on the last day of camp. Actors will work with a script, build their own sets and costumes, and explore the firt steps of the rehearsal process. Students are expected to memorize lines, work colaboratively in the ensemble, and contribute to on and off stage production needs.
Camp Focus: Production, Acting, Tech Theatre
Grade Range: 3rd-9th
Camp Dates: TWO WEEKS LONG, Mondays-Fridays, 7/7-7/18
Camp Time: FULL DAY 9:00am-4:00pm
End of Camp Performance Details: This camp will culminate performance for invitied friends and family! Students will perform at 4:15pm on the final day of camp! (Please note that this time is extended from the usual camp hours!)
Before Care: For an additional charge of $50, Before Care is available for early drop off from 8:00am-9:00am. (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)
After Care: For an additional charge of $40, After Care is available for late pick up from Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-5:00pm. There is no after care available on Fridays. (This is a total charge of $40, not $40 per day.)

8th-12th: Clue: High School Edition 3-Week Full-Day Production Camp

Clue: High School Edition Directed by Rachel McCarthy
This three-week long, performance camp will be fully produced on the Andy Boss Thrust Stage at Park Square Theatre!
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
How Casting/Participation Works:
Students who register for this camp are guarunteed a part in the production, and are expected to participate regardless of how they are cast. On the first day of camp, the ensemble will read through the play, and go through a series of auditions and callbacks. The cast list will be sent out before the second day of camp begins.
