Description: Its never too early to break out the Halloween decorations! Dive into spooky musicals like The Addams Family, Beetleguese, Sweeny Todd, and many more, as campers explore what makes these unique musicals successful.

Camp Focus: Musical Theatre

Grade Range: 6th-8th

Camp Dates: Monday-Thursday, 6/30-7/3

Camp Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

Before Care: For an additional charge of $50, Before Care is available for early drop off from 8:00am-9:00am. (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)

Full Day Lunch Coverage: Free Lunch Coverage (between 12:00pm-1:00pm is available for campers who are registered in BOTH morning and afternoon camps.

CAMP DETAILS

Description: Sherlock, Poirot, Nancy Drew, Scooby Doo, the list goes on! Using the five part story structure method, campers will work collaboratively to craft a complexing culprit and caper! Using Literature's Greatest Detectives as a template, we wil deep dive into the stories that leave a lasting impression on their audiences.

Camp Focus: Acting

Grade Range: 6th-8th

Camp Dates: Monday-Thursday, 6/30-7/3

Camp Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

3rd-9th: Cinderella Rockin' in the 80's! (Full Day Production Camp)

CAMP DETAILS

Description: This two-week long, full day production camp will culminate in a showing of Ciderella Rockin' in the 80's! on the last day of camp. Actors will work with a script, build their own sets and costumes, and explore the firt steps of the rehearsal process. Students are expected to memorize lines, work colaboratively in the ensemble, and contribute to on and off stage production needs.

Camp Focus: Production, Acting, Tech Theatre

Grade Range: 3rd-9th

Camp Dates: TWO WEEKS LONG, Mondays-Fridays, 7/7-7/18

Camp Time:  FULL DAY 9:00am-4:00pm

End of Camp Performance Details: This camp will culminate performance for invitied friends and family! Students will perform at 4:15pm on the final day of camp! (Please note that this time is extended from the usual camp hours!)

Description: The Play's The Thing! Well, that's what Shakespeare said! This introduction to Shakespeare camp will get students curious about The Bard, his classic tales, and how to bring these characters to life on stage.

8th-12th: Clue: High School Edition 3-Week Full-Day Production Camp

Description: 

Clue: High School Edition Directed by Rachel McCarthy

This three-week long, performance camp will be fully produced on the Andy Boss Thrust Stage at Park Square Theatre! 

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

How Casting/Participation Works:

Students who register for this camp are guarunteed a part in the production, and are expected to participate regardless of how they are cast. On the first day of camp, the ensemble will read through the play, and go through a series of auditions and callbacks. The cast list will be sent out before the second day of camp begins.

Camp Dates: THREE WEEKS LONG, Monday-Friday July 14th-August 3rd

Description: 

Clue: High School Edition Directed by Rachel McCarthy

This three-week long, performance camp will be fully produced on the Andy Boss Thrust Stage at Park Square Theatre! 

Tech Camp students will support the technical aspects of this production, and be the primary running crew on performance days. Students will shaddow and support professional designers in the lighting, costume, set, and properties departments. Learn hands on skills, and explore what it takes to manage, run, and collaborate with a team of theater technicians.
