3-8 Production: Peter Pan and Wendy Darling

CAMP DETAILS

Description: In this course, students will audition, rehearse, and put on a one act performance of the play “Peter Pan and Wendy Darling”! In this adaptation of the classic J.M. Barrie play, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell visit Wendy and her brothers and whisk them away on a magical journey in the world of Neverland. This is a two week camp that culminates in a performance of the play for friends and family.

Camp Focus: Production Camp

Grade Range:  3rd-8th grade

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, July 27-August 7

Camp Time: 9am-4pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a one act production of the show at the end of camp on the last day!

Morning Care: For an additional charge of $80, Morning Care is available for early drop offs from Monday-Friday 8am-9am. (This is a total charge of $80, not $80 per day.)

After Care: For an additional charge of $80, After Care is available for late pick up from Monday-Friday 4:00pm-5:00pm. (This is a total charge of $80, not $80 per day.)

2-4 Create-A-Play: Superhero Showdown

Description: Up up and away! Campers will bring valiant heroes and cunning villains to life, crafting their own super-characters and creating an original story. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their powerful characters and story with friends and family.

Camp Focus: Create-A-Play (create and perform an original play)

Grade Range:  2nd-4th grade

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, August 3-7

Camp Time: 9am-12pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

Morning Care: For an additional charge of $50, Morning Care is available for early drop offs from Monday-Friday 8am-9am. (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)

Description: Dive into the world of musical theatre Broadway hits, to explore storytelling through song and dance. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their powerhouse characters and musical numbers with friends and family.

Camp Focus: MT Studio (learn musical scenes, songs, and choreography)

Grade Range:  5th-8th grade

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, August 3-7

Camp Time: 9am-12pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

K-1 Storybook Adventures

Description: Campers will dive into the pages of classic storybooks to learn about story structure and what makes stories pop! As they explore the books, campers will discover how to bring stories to life on the stage through movement and performance. The week will end with a showcase performance where campers share their characters and story with friends and family.

Camp Focus: Beginner Theatre-Making

Grade Range:  K-1st

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, August 3-7

Camp Time: 9am-12pm

2-4 Create-A-Play: Galaxy Explorer

Description: Blast off on a mission to the farthest reaches of the stars and alien planets to discover the basics of stage presence and storytelling. Campers will bring extraterrestrial lifeforms and brave astronauts to life, crafting their own characters and creating an original story. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their stellar characters and story with friends and family.

Description: Join the next generation of villains and monsters in a pop-rock camp based off of the hit musical movies. Campers will learn high-energy choreography and vocals while exploring material from both worlds. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their fierce characters and musical numbers with friends and family.

Description: Campers will use their bodies and voices to mimic the movements and sounds of their favorite animals in this high-energy performance class. Through interactive animal-themed theatre exercises, students will learn how to transform into an array of creatures in order to tell a story of their own. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their creature characters and story with friends and family.
