K-1 Blue Pup Backyard Adventures

CAMP DETAILS

Description: Inspired by everyone's favorite Blue Australian Pup, this class focuses on the power of imaginative play and the importance of teamwork. Campers will participate in games and theatre exercises that help them practice social skills and creative problem-solving. By the end of the week, the group will perform a series of short, fun scenes that celebrate family, friendship, and backyard fun.

Camp Focus: Beginner Theatre-Making

Grade Range:  K-1st

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, June 22-26 

Camp Time: 9am-12pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

Morning Care: For an additional charge of $50, Morning Care is available for early drop offs from Monday-Friday 8am-9am. (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)

Lunch: For students who are participating in morning and afternoon classes, please pack a lunch. Students staying between courses will have a supervised lunch / recess period from 12pm-1pm.

2-4 Create-A-Play: Animal City

CAMP DETAILS

Description: Welcome to a bustling metropolis run entirely by creatures big and small. Campers will bring their inner animal to life, crafting their own characters and creating an original story about the citizens of "Animal City." The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their furry characters and story with friends and family.

Camp Focus: Create-A-Play (create and perform an original play)

Grade Range:  2nd-4th grade

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, June 22-26

Camp Time: 1pm-4pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a short showcase of skills learned at the end of camp on the last day!

After Care: For an additional charge of $50, After Care is available for late pick up from Monday-Friday 4:00pm-5:00pm.  (This is a total charge of $50, not $50 per day.)

Description: Pick up the blade and learn the disciplined techniques of theatrical swordplay for the stage. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their daring choreographed fights with friends and family.

Description: Campers will travel back in time to the age of the dinosaurs to explore characters and stories of the Jurassic period! Performers will learn how to "stomp" with purpose and project their voices as they bring various prehistoric species to life on stage. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their dino characters and story with friends and family.

Campers will bring the high-energy troll world to life, crafting their own characters and creating an original story. 3-8 Production: Shelby L. Holmes: Mystery of MacAdams Manor

CAMP DETAILS

Description: In this course, students will audition, rehearse, and put on a one act performance of the play “Shelby L. Holmes: Mystery of MacAdams Manor”! Shelby (the great granddaughter of Sherlock Holmes), Winston, and Luna the cat are on the case! When the MacAdams family vanish in their own home, Shelby and her team are brought in to investigate the manor and find the missing family. However, they soon begin to realize that there may be supernatural forces at play. This is a two week camp that culminates in a performance of the play for friends and family.

Camp Focus: Production Camp

Grade Range:  3rd-8th grade

Camp Dates: Monday-Friday, June 29-July 10 (no camp July 3rd)

Camp Time: 9am-4pm

End of Camp Showcase: This camp will culminate in a one act production of the show at the end of camp on the last day!

Morning Care: For an additional charge of $80, Morning Care is available for early drop offs from Monday-Friday 8am-9am. (This is a total charge of $80, not $80 per day.)

5-8 Create-A-Play: Movie Mash-Up

Description: Break the fourth wall in this camp that mixes together favorite movies into one original story! Campers will blend their favorite movie, crafting their own characters and creating an original "mash-up" play. The week culminates in a showcase performance where campers share their characters and story with friends and family.

Description: Enter a world of rhymes and whimsical characters as campers explore the colorful storytelling style of Dr. Seuss. Campers will focus on the characters and stories of Suess while working together to create a zany, Seuss-ified story of their own. The week wraps up with a showcase performance where campers share their Seuss-inspired characters and story with friends and family.
